| The Central Play Area at This private school has been reborn through a comprehensive renovation, redefining its purpose and enriching the campus experience. A significant change was the relocation of the staff parking area, unlocking extensive centrally located space for a multifunctional active playspace. This new playspace works in parallel with other playspace areas, providing a full range of activities, from quiet and imaginative play to the development of gross motor skills and sporting activities. The huge Climbing Rope Structure is a central part of this playspace and adds an additional vertical challenge to the area. Established trees have been retained, and further canopy trees have been planted, with the new deck area incorporated into the overall design. A large synthetic turf area and running track allow for running and ball play, enhancing the high-quality physical education program of the school and further preparing students for a healthy and active lifestyle by developing skills, knowledge, teamwork, and positive attitudes. The productive garden has been expanded with additional vegetable garden beds and a chicken coop. Additionally, a new BBQ area has been added for out-of-hours and other events. |
