Project Description

Hume City Council, in partnership with Stocklands and DEECD, were looking to provide the Newbury community with a centre addressing the service needs of the area in a holistic, inclusive and seamless manner and that respectfully acknowledged the diversity of the community. Botanical Traditions was engaged for this project. From the concept design phase through to construction support, our team has been committed to designing a landscape that goes beyond aesthetics, seamlessly integrating the various components of the center.

At the heart of our design lies a commitment to acknowledging and respecting the diversity of the Newbury Community Centre. Our landscape design and planting plan are not merely elements but rather key contributors to the creation of an engaging and diverse environment that caters to all.The center's components, including a public meeting room, staffroom, parking and children's area, have been intricately woven into the fabric of our design. The result is an interconnected and dynamic space that promotes community interaction and learning.
