The Concept Design for our 2025 Summer Seasonal Flower Display in Sydney was ‘Habitat’ and was a continuation of the theme from the Spring Seasonal Flower 2024 display. It highlighted the importance of the urban landscape, in particular plants in supporting a ‘habitat’ for humans, birds, insects and pets.

The Planting Design draws from the beauty and diversity of natural habitats such as coastal areas, grasslands, and forests and utilizes the plants in the hanging baskets, greenwalls and planters throughout the City of Sydney area and across multiple sites.

Each site is uniquely designed in response to its microclimatic conditions, with carefully curated planting schemes that harmonize with the local environment. The displays feature an abundant selection of vibrant flowering plants, lush foliage plants, and iconic Australian native plants.
