Botanical Traditions - Greenvale Community Centre

Greenvale Community Centre has a large outdoor area with multiple playspaces. Throughout these playspaces are multiple zones composed of different design components. There is a production area which includes vegetable planters, a plant covered shade arbor and worm composting farm.

There is a wet play area with a handpump and splash pond, as well as a digging pit with a log boarder. African thatch style shelters provide shade over sandpits, while rock edging provides contrast against the sand.

Multiple bark softfall areas and natural and synthetic turf allow running and game play. Throughout the playspace is carefully designed planting which provides contrast and visual texture, allowing the children to explore with nature.
